Hire Education has been operating within South Africa since 2003. Our mission is to provide individual attention to learners in order for them to improve their understanding and attitude towards the existing syllabus, aswell as improving their results and helping them toperform to the best of their ability. Hire Education selects only the brightest and best undergraduate and postgraduate university students as tutors. Each one is screened and assessed by our management team, and must prove to us their ability to assess the reasons for a learner falling behind, as well as their ability to both understand and teach the subject of their choice. In the case of primary school tutors this means having an understanding of subjects across the board.
Whenever a parent decides to engage the services of Hire Education, our Cape Town primary school tutors spend the first three one-on-one tuition sessions in assessing the reasons why a particular learner has been falling behind. A written assessment is then given to parents regarding:

- The learner’s confidence
- The learner’s effort levels
- Understanding between learner and tutor
- Weaknesses and problem areas
- Aims and goals
- Suggested frequency of lessons
