Why is it that a learner falls behind at school? There can be a number of reasons. One of the most common is that a particular section of a subject’s syllabus has not been understood, or has been missed through illness. In certain subjects this can have a snowball effect, getting worse and worse as time moves along.
Sometimes there can be a personality clash between teacher and learner – nothing can be done about this short of changing classes, but sometimes (where there is just one teacher for a subject, for example) this is not possible. There are other causes – exam pressure, parental intervention or a learning disability for example. We believe that the answer lies in home lessons for the learner, and that is why Hire Education was founded in 2003. Hire Education provides tutors for one-on-one extra lessons in the comfort of your home.
Hire Education operates within many different areas in South Africa including Johannesburg and Pretoria and Cape Town. Your children can enjoy home lessons by our tutors at a mutually acceptable time. At a high school level tuition is given in individual subjects, while at primary school level tuition is across the board. Our mission is simple – to provide individual attention by giving home lessons in order to improve a learner’s understanding of and attitude towards a given subject. The objective of these home lessons is also to improve a learner’s results and help them to achieve their full potential.
