Private Tutors
We live in a country where more than 30% of classes have more than 46 learners or more. Even in the other 70% more than half of the classes hold between 36 and 45 learners. With classes of this size it is impossible for a teacher to give every learner the attention he or she deserves, no matter how good the teacher is. In the case of smaller classes, teachers get to know each of their learners better, and can keep track of how each individual is coping with the learning task of the moment. This knowledge enables the teacher to get involved more effectively and to help the individual learner make progress. With larger classes this is just not possible, and this presents a situation where private tutors are the answer. Wherever a learner is for one reason of another falling behind in a given subject, private tutors can always be called upon to help out.
Hire Education is an organisation that was started in 2003 for the sole purpose of giving private tuition to learners who were not coping with one or more subjects. Because of the great demand for private tuition, the organisation has grown since then, and we now have hundreds of tutors in our employ. These private tutors can be called upon between them to give tuition in all of the subjects and learning areas taught in our primary and high schools, and they are only taken on once they have proven their knowledge and the ability to impart it to others.
