Home Tuition
Hire Education is a company that specialises in home tuition. The company started in 2003 when Rory Brachner, our founder, recognised a gap in the education system – that gap being a need for extra tuition to support and clarify the work being covered in a classroom environment. He decided to start a company and that he would hire University undergraduates as tutors. The plan worked, and the result is Hire Education. Our tutors have shown excellence in their subject both at school and at University. To this end they must have obtained at least a B symbol for Matric in their chosen subject, and in order to qualify for home tuition must prove their ability to not only understand the subject but be able to teach it as well.
We recognise that home tuition is extremely important both to the learner and to his or her parents. After accepting a new tutor onto our books, he or she may not go out into "the field" until they have undergone an intensive training and assessment program as set out by ourselves. They must show us that they have the ability to explain the work on the learner's level and to assess the learner's academic situation. Once having done so our tutors also need to be able to implement the proper process in order to get the concepts of that particular subject across to the learner in the correct way.
