Educational Tuition
Some of the downfalls of our educational system are that not all learners learn at the same rate, not all educators teach at the same pace, and too many of our classes are just too big. It is the ideal of any school to keep the student: teacher ratio as low as possible. Many of South Africa's schools have a ratio of 40:1 or even greater, something that is well outside the most favourable ratio. Many people argue that the most favourable ratio is somewhere below 30:1. One of the possible results of this unacceptably high student: teacher ratio is that many South African learners need extra educational tuition, and this is where Hire Education can help you. Hire Education was started in 2003 when our founder, Rory Brachner, recognized the need for more private educational tuition to be made available in the country, and so he came up with a plan, and we are the result.
Hire education supplies educational tuition to learners in their own time and at their own venue. Our tutors cover the whole range of FET subjects and both Intermediate and Senior phases of the GET. In other words we can provide tutors for every grade from Grade R to Grade 12. Where do our tutors come from? Well, we link the resource of bright university students with learners requiring the additional support that individual tuition provides. When these students initially join us and before they become operational in educational tuition they have to show us that they are able to explain the work and assess the learner's academic situation. Furthermore Hire Education ensures that our tutors can then put into practice the correct methods to facilitate the learner's improvement in understanding and marks.
