Science Tutor
Science, along with Math and Accounting, are subjects that work on the principle of building blocks. This means that each new section being taught is based upon a previous section. It doesn't take much to realise then that a learner who has not, for some reason, grasped one or more of the earlier sections would have great difficulty in understanding the building blocks that depend on it. This is where a science tutor can assist. There are numerous reasons why learners fall behind in a given subject. It could be as simple as missing just one lesson through being absent with the flu. Or it could be because the learner has a learning disability. Whatever the reason, a science tutor can help the learner catch up and get back on track.
With an average of 40 pupils per class in South Africa, it is almost impossible for any teacher to give his or her full, undivided attention to every individual learner. Inevitably some learners are going to fall behind, and if you find that your son or daughter is lagging behind in a particular subject such as science ,hiring a private tutor in that subject is an obvious choice. Many teachers give extra lessons, however this is usually in their own homes. Our science tutors will travel to your home to do the extra lessons. They will first evaluate what is needed to remedy the situation, and after liaising with us we can together decide on the best course of action going forward.
If you are having any doubts about your child's ability to cope with science, contact us to arrange a tutor for them.
