Sometimes changing schools or circumstances at home have a great effect on the ability of a learner to concentrate, and this can lead to a gap in the understanding of a particular subject. Once a gap is there it can inhibit the understanding of further concepts, particularly where the new work relies on past knowledge. The result is a domino effect that can only be halted by private tuition either by the school or by help from an outside institution such as Hire Education. This company was founded to compliment school work with help from the outside. Our extra lessons take place in a relaxed environment. In this atmosphere learners are able to open up more to the tutor as they are in their own homes therefore more comfortable, and this helps the parents by taking the stress of having to help with school work away. Because our tutors are undergraduates there is only a small age difference between tutor and learner, easing the mentoring process, which in turn motivates the learner and encourages him or her to reach out for help and achieve their full potential.
We do not assume to do the school's work for them, but to assist individual pupils where help it is needed. If you know or suspect that your child is falling backwards in a particular subject, perhaps now is the time to have an assessment done. Where a child has a particular problem such as ADD or ADHD, it is our policy, wherever possible to provide a tutor or tutors who have had previous experience with that particular learning problem.
