High School Extra Lessons
During the first two years of High School, learners continue with the Senior Phase of GET (General Education and Training Phase), in which the eight learning areas are:
- Languages
- Mathematics
- Economic and Management Services
- Life Sciences
- Technology
- Life Orientation
- Arts and Culture
- Social sciences
It is here that learners cover the groundwork for the more formal FET or Further Education and Training Phase that they will cover during the last three years of their formal school education. Once they enter High School, learners begin to feel more and more pressure from the school routines and homework, and our High School extra lessons take this into account. In fact, a High School learner having extra lessons is better equipped to deal with the increased pressure and workload as our tutors help them to master their time management skills and study techniques.
From Grade 10 onwards learners are required to do a minimum of seven subjects, which consist of two official languages, Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, Life Orientation and three other subjects. Learners in High school may need extra lessons in these subjects for a number of reasons and Hire Education can provide these extra lessons.
